Getting started

Welcome to Setherion

Setherion is an AI app builder. Describe a website or an app in plain words, and it builds it, changes it as you chat, and puts it online.

Describe what you want in your own words and Setherion builds it, ready to change and publish.

  • Websites
  • Web apps
  • Mobile apps
  • Landing pages
  • 3D games
  • SaaS products

Setherion lets anyone build a working website or web app by describing it. You say what you want, in any language, and Setherion builds a complete app: pages and design, a database, sign-in for its users, and connections to the services you use, all as real code. You watch it being built, change it by writing what you want different, and publish it with one click.

It covers the whole life of an app, from the first idea to changing it as often as you like, putting it online and looking after it once people use it.

You can invite others into a workspace to build together. Every app is real React code: on a paid plan you can edit it by hand and push it to GitHub or GitLab, so it fits into the way a development team already works.

You can start for free. Plans are priced by credits, not by the number of apps or people. See Pricing.

Start building for free

Create a free account with email, Google, GitHub or Apple, and start building straight away.

Core concepts

Three words come up everywhere in Setherion:

  • Account: you, on Setherion. You sign in with one account and use it in every workspace you belong to.
  • Workspace: where you and the people you invite work. It holds your apps and its members, each with a role: owner, admin, editor or viewer. A viewer can look but not change anything. See Workspaces.
  • App: one project, with its chat, its preview, its code and its address once it is published. The credits for building and changing an app come from the account of the person who created it.

Why use Setherion

From idea to a working app, fast
Describe what you want instead of starting from an empty project, and have something running in minutes.

Nothing to set up
The database, the sign-in, the photos and the address online come with every app. You ask for them in your own words.

Build alone or together
Work on your own, or invite people into a workspace and give each of them the role that fits.

Your code, when you want it
Every app is real React code. On a paid plan you can edit it by hand and keep it in your own GitHub or GitLab repository.

From the tools you already use
Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or VS Code and build from a chat there, or call the API from your own code.

Who Setherion is for

Small businesses

  • Restaurants, salons, clinics and shops that want a website or an online store without hiring an agency
  • Owners who want to change their own site, prices or menu the moment something changes

Founders and makers

  • Founders launching a product and taking their first payments
  • People building a side project, a prototype or a small product on their own

Teams in companies

  • Teams replacing spreadsheets with a tool of their own, with their own data and sign-in
  • Marketers building landing pages and campaign sites without waiting for developers

Freelancers, agencies and developers

  • Freelancers and agencies delivering client sites faster, each on the client's own domain
  • Developers who start a project here, then take the code to GitHub or GitLab, or drive Setherion through the API

Students and learners

  • Students building course projects, and anyone learning how apps are made by watching one being built

What you can build

  • Websites for a business, such as a restaurant, a salon, a clinic or a portfolio, with real pages that search engines can find.
  • Landing pages for a launch, an event or a campaign, with a sign-up form.
  • Online stores with products, a cart and card payments, or a shop front for a store you already run on Shopify, WooCommerce or PrestaShop.
  • Web apps and dashboards for a team: bookings, invoices, stock, clients, each with its own data and sign-in.
  • SaaS products that customers sign up for, with their own accounts and paid subscriptions.
  • Mobile apps, designed for the phone first, that people can add to their home screen like an installed app, or put in Google Play and the App Store.
  • AI-powered apps, such as a chat assistant or a writing tool, using your own OpenAI, Claude or Gemini account through a connector.
  • Games, from a quiz or a puzzle to a 3D game, or a 2D game with characters drawn for it.
  • Small tools, such as a calculator, a converter or a planner.
  • And much more: dashboards, admin pages, internal tools, blogs, apps with AI inside.

You choose one of six marks above the box on the dashboard, or leave them alone and let your words decide: Website, Web App, Mobile App, Landing Page, 3D Game and SaaS. A shop has no mark of its own: say "an online store" and it is built as one.

What comes with every app

Ask for these in your own words, such as "let customers create an account" or "save the bookings". None of it needs setting up, and no keys.

  • A database, set up for you, so the app remembers what people enter. You look after it in Manage, under Cloud: the records, the forms people sent, the accounts, the letters the app sends and what it spent. See Cloud.
  • User accounts for the app's own users, when the app needs them: sign-up, sign-in with an email and a password or with Google, email confirmation, password reset and sign-in links. You decide who may join in Cloud, then Users.
  • Forms that really send. A contact, booking, quote or newsletter form reaches you, with no account for the sender: you read it in Cloud, then Forms, and get an email.
  • Letters in the app's language, such as the confirmation of an account and a form's receipt. They follow the language of the app's own screens.
  • Photos chosen to match what the app is about. Before an app is handed over, the pictures that do not exist are replaced. AI images are on every plan, and AI video on a paid plan.
  • A light and a dark look, and a layout for phones that is measured at phone width after every build and every change.
  • Pages search engines can find. Each page has its own address, a title and a description, and a published site carries a sitemap and a robots file. See SEO & AI search.
  • An icon and a home screen install. A published app can be added to a phone's home screen, with its own icon.
  • A test before you see it. Every build and every change is opened out of sight first, and one that crashes is repaired at no cost to you.
  • An address online on setherion.app as soon as you publish, and your own domain on a paid plan.
  • Visitor numbers under Manage, then Analytics, with nothing to set up.

Connect the services you use

Connectors join an app to services you already have, more than 60 of them. You connect a service once, in Connectors, and then choose which apps use it. The database, sign-in and letters of every app are built in and need no connector.

  • Payments and stores, such as Stripe, Paddle, PayPal, Shopify, WooCommerce and PrestaShop.
  • Email and messages, such as Resend, Brevo, Mailgun, Twilio, Telegram and Slack.
  • CRM and work, such as HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, Asana and Linear.
  • Data and content, such as Airtable, Notion, Google Sheets, Supabase and Firebase.
  • AI and media, such as OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), Google Gemini, Replicate, ElevenLabs and Cloudinary.
  • Design and code, such as Figma, Canva, GitHub and GitLab.

How connecting works is on the Connectors page.

Security and privacy

Signing in

  • Sign in with an email and a password, or with the social accounts the sign-in page offers.
  • API keys and connected assistants are stored only as fingerprints, never in readable form, and you can revoke any of them at any time from your account.

Your apps and their keys

  • Publishing is refused when an app's code contains a secret key, so a key cannot go online by mistake.
  • The secret keys of connected services stay on Setherion's servers. A published app calls through Setherion and never holds them.
  • In a workspace, each person has a role, and only owners, admins and editors can change an app.
  • A quick scan and a deep scan read your app for common mistakes, with a fix for each. See Security.
  • On the Business plan an app can be private, open only to a workspace. See Publish to the web.

How Setherion fits into your workflow

Describe your app

Write what you want in your own words, in any language. A sentence is enough to start.

Pick its look

Setherion says what it is about to build and shows the look it would use, as a picture. Build that one, or see two more first.

Watch it being built

Setherion writes the app and shows it running in the preview while it works.

Change it by chatting

Say what to change: a colour, a new page, a booking form. You can also click text or an element in the preview and edit it directly.

Publish it

One click puts it online at its own address on setherion.app. On a paid plan it can have your own domain.

Take the code with you

When you want the code in your own pipeline, push it to GitHub or GitLab on a paid plan.

Setherion also works outside the browser: connect Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor or VS Code and build from a chat there, or drive it from your own code with the API.

Find your way around

Everything in the documentation, by what you are trying to do. Open a group to see its pages.

Credits

Building and changing an app uses credits, and every plan includes a monthly amount. A price is shown before you press for AI images and video, an SEO review, game art, imports, and Power Seth and Max Seth. Each message in the chat shows what it cost in its menu.

Publishing does not use credits. Every app gets a free address on setherion.app; your own domain needs a paid plan, which includes 3 domains on Pro and 25 on Business.

A change that leaves the app unable to build is not charged: the credits go back to you.

Published apps that save data, send email or call connected services use integration credits, a separate monthly allowance included in every plan.

Your balance sits beside Publish in the editor, and in Settings, then Plan and credits. See Plans and credits for how credits work, and Pricing for what each plan includes.

Get help

Most errors never reach you: every build and every change is opened out of sight first, and one that breaks is repaired before you see it. If your app still shows an error, tell Setherion in the app's chat what you see. It looks into the problem and fixes it, like any other change.

Common problems, such as a blank preview, a form whose emails do not arrive or a domain that will not connect, are answered in Troubleshooting and FAQ. For anything else, the Support page shows whether every part of Setherion is working right now, and how to reach us. See also Getting help.
