Forms
The messages and orders people send from your app, and how you reply.
The messages visitors send through the app's forms: contact, booking or quote requests, newsletter sign-ups. Nobody needs an account to send one.
- Email me about each message sends each one to your address. Reply to that email to answer the sender, when they gave theirs. On by default.
- Confirm to the sender emails them that their message arrived, in the app's language, without repeating what they wrote. On by default. Each one is a letter, so it appears under Emails.
Each message uses one integration credit. One visitor can send at most 10 an hour, and an app receives at most 300 a day.
Reading and answering the messages
Each message shows the name of the form, the date, the page it came from, and its fields. New ones have a blue dot. Reply opens your email with the sender's address in it and marks the message as read. Mark as read and Mark as new change the dot, and Delete asks once before it removes the message. The list loads 100 at a time.
An empty list shows the line a form sends with, setherion.forms.send, and suggests asking in the chat for "a contact form that sends me the messages".
Limits on forms
- 10 messages an hour from one visitor, and 300 a day to one app.
- A message holds up to 30 fields, with text cut at 5,000 characters and 20,000 bytes in all.
- The email to you about messages is limited to 30 an hour per app, and a sender gets at most 3 receipts a day, across all apps.
- When the monthly integration allowance has stopped, a visitor sees that the app has reached its monthly limit, and you are told.
- While the backend is paused, forms answer that the app is paused.
