Manage your app

Analytics

Who visits your published app: page views, visitors, views per visit and bounce rate, where they come from, what they open, and on which device. Built in, with nothing to set up.

Every published app counts its visits by itself, with nothing to set up. Open Manage, then Analytics.

The numbers

Choose the period at the top: 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days or 90 days.

TileWhat it counts
Page viewsEvery page opened, counting again each time.
VisitorsThe different people, one per browser.
Views per visitPage views divided by visitors.
Bounce rateThe share of visitors who opened one page and left.

Each tile compares the period with the one before it, for example 30 days with the 30 days before. A new app says no earlier data until there is some.

Click a tile and the chart under it shows that number day by day, or hour by hour over 24 hours.

At the top right, live counts the people on the site in the last five minutes. Refresh reads everything again.

Where they come from and what they open

PanelWhat it shows
Traffic sourcesThe sites that sent visitors, and Direct for those who typed the address or opened a link with no site behind it.
Top pagesThe pages opened most, by address.
CountriesWhere the visitors are.
DevicesPhone, tablet or computer.
Operating systemAndroid, iOS, Windows, macOS and the rest.

When there is nothing to show

  • Publish your project to see analytics: the app is not online yet.
  • No visits yet: the app is live and nobody has opened it. The page offers Copy link to send to someone.
  • If the published address no longer answers, the page says so and offers Publish again.
  • A very busy site shows the most recent 40,000 views, and a note says so.

Good to know

  • Only the published app is counted. The preview in the editor never is.
  • Search engines, link previews in chat apps and other robots are left out, so the numbers are people. Your own visits to the published site do count.
  • Visits show up within a minute of the first one.
  • For more, such as goals, campaigns or audiences, connect Google Analytics. It works beside these numbers, not instead of them.
  • The Visitors tile on Overview is the same count over the last 30 days.
