Manage your app

Overview

Manage, beside Preview and Code: the app at a glance, its status, visitors, security and SEO, and making a copy, taking it offline or deleting it.

Everything about an app that is not its code lives in Manage, beside Preview and Code at the top of the editor. It appears once the app has been built.

The menu on the left of Manage has a page for each part of the app. The first one, Overview, is the app at a glance. On a phone the menu is a row of buttons across the top. The arrow at the top left, with the name of where you came from, takes you back to the editor.

The app at a glance

At the top, the app's icon, its name and its description. The pencil beside the name renames it, and + Add a description says what it is for. The star, on the right, keeps it at the top of your list in My Projects.

Under them, four tiles:

TileWhat it shows
StatusPublished, with its address and Open site. Draft when it has not gone online yet, with Publish your app. Not responding when the address returns an error: publish again.
Visitors · 30 daysHow many people opened the published app. View analytics for the rest.
SecurityClean, or how many issues the last scan found. Run a scan when none has run yet.
SEO scoreOut of 100, from the last review. Run a review when none has run yet.

A security scan and an SEO review each read the whole app, and each uses credits, like a chat reply. Pressing the Security or SEO score tile starts one when none has run yet, so it is not only a link. The SEO review is on a paid plan.

Manage this app

ButtonWhat it does
Make a copyA copy of the app appears in My Projects. Change it without touching the original.
Take offlineThe live site stops working at once, after you confirm, and its address is freed. Publishing again brings it back, and a custom domain has to be connected again. Shown only while the app is published.
Delete appMoves it to the trash. You can put it back from My Projects for 30 days, then the app and the files it uploaded are gone for good.
