What you can build
Games
Games that play in the browser and on phones: 3D games built with real models and physics, 2D games with characters drawn and animated for you, and how to change both.
Setherion builds games that play in the browser, on a computer or a phone, and can go to the app stores like any other app. A game is real code: a title screen, controls, a score, levels that get harder, and a game over screen.
Most AI app builders make games from a prompt alone. Setherion gives you a game panel, Game art: characters and poses, 3D models, sounds, a level editor, settings, high scores and moving backgrounds. It is one of the most complete game-making panels among AI app builders.
3D or 2D
| 3D | 2D | |
|---|---|---|
| How to ask | Pick 3D Game above the box, and say what kind | Ask for "a 2D game", in "pixel art", "retro" or "side-scrolling", or name the classic it plays like |
| What it is made of | 3D models from Setherion's library, lights, shadows and physics | Characters, backgrounds and items drawn for this game |
| What it plays like | Racing, endless runners, shooters, fighting, platformers, tower defence, flight, mazes, space, rolling-ball courses, wave survival, mini golf | Fighting games, platformers, top-down adventures, run and gun |
| Changing how it looks | The scene editor, right in the preview, and Game art for its models | Game art: draw each character with AI, or upload your own |
What every game gets
- A title screen, the game, and a game over screen with a way to play again.
- Controls for every device: the keyboard on a computer, and buttons on the screen on a phone.
- A score, and on most kinds lives, levels or a timer, shown over the game.
- Rising difficulty on most kinds, so the second minute is harder than the first.
With Power Seth a game also gets a settings screen for sound and difficulty, a pause, and the best score kept between visits. See Build modes.
Sounds, settings and high scores
Game art opens from the button over the preview, beside the game. Besides a game's pictures or 3D models it holds:
- Sounds: effects, voices and music from a free library, changed in a click.
- Settings: the three to six numbers the game plays with, like its speed or its lives, tuned with a slider, free.
- Scores: a high-score board every player shares, with no account needed, where you can take off a score that cannot be real.
See Game art.
Ask like this
A 3D endless runner through a neon city: three lanes, jump and slide,
coins to collect, and the speed rising the longer you lastA 3D racing game on a closed circuit in the desert, with drifting,
three laps and a best lap timeA 2D run and gun game in a jungle, like Metal Slug: a mercenary with a rifle,
enemy soldiers, crates to hide behind and three stagesA 2D fighting game in pixel art with four fighters, a character select screen
and best of three rounds against the computerName the game it plays like, not the game itself. Setherion gives every game its own name and its own characters, never another game's.
The mark above the box is called 3D Game. Pick it and leave the box empty, and ideas appear under it. Pressing one puts it in the box, ready to change, and the arrow beside them, Other ideas, shows more.

Simple classics
Small board and puzzle games are built flat, in the page, with no 3D models and no characters to draw, so they are quick to build and quick to change. Setherion knows memory cards, Tetris, Snake, 2048, quiz and trivia, a sliding puzzle, a Wordle-style word game, Minesweeper and Pong. Ask for one as a game ("a snake game") and it is built to the usual rules of that game, with sounds from Setherion's library. Any other 2D game is built the same way, whether it has a name (a breakout, a flappy bird, chess) or is one you describe ("a game where a cat catches falling fish"). Its background and its objects can be drawn or uploaded later in Game art; see 2D games.
Ads and purchases
A game can show ads, with a reward for watching one, and sell things inside it, like removing ads or a new character. Ask for it in your request. In the editor's preview they are pretend, so you can try them; on the published website they are hidden; in the phone app they are real. The phone app is the Native way of publishing, which is on Pro and up. See Publish to app stores.
