AI Controls

Some things you should not have to repeat in every message. AI Controls keeps them for the app: open the ⚙ beside the box where you write, then AI Controls. The same window opens from Manage, then Settings, then AI rules & frozen files.

Custom instructions

Rules Setherion always follows when it builds or changes this app. Write them the way you would tell a person, one per line:

Keep the dark theme
Never use orange
All prices in pounds, with VAT included
Write the text formally, in British English
Keep each component in a small file of its own

Save Changes keeps them. They apply to every request from then on, so you do not have to say them again. Only the first 2,000 characters, about 400 words, are used, because they travel with every request for as long as the app exists.

Rules for every app

Rules that are about you, not about one app, belong in Settings, then Account, under Knowledge: your company, your brand colours, the language to write in, what you never want. They are sent with every build and every change in every app, and they are the only rules that reach the first prompt of a brand new app. Knowledge has the same 2,000 character limit. If a rule for one app contradicts a rule in Knowledge, the app's own Custom instructions win.

Freeze Files

Files Setherion is not allowed to change. Tick the files to protect, or Freeze All and untick the few that may change. Unfreeze All takes the protection off.

Freeze the page you have got exactly right, and the next change cannot undo it, whatever it asks. Setherion is told to leave frozen files alone, and if a change touches one anyway, the file is put back exactly as it was before the change is handed to you.
