What you can build
Websites
A website for a business or an organisation: what Setherion builds for its visitors without being asked, how to ask for one, and how to make it yours.
A website is for the people who visit it: the patients of a clinic, the guests of a restaurant, the clients of a firm. They read it, find what they came for and get in touch, without making an account.
When to choose it
Pick Website, the globe above the box on the dashboard, or simply say "a website for" in your request.
The mark matters most when your words could mean two things. "A medical centre" can be a site for its patients or the screen its staff work in. With Website picked it is always the first. For the second, see Web apps.
| If you want | Choose |
|---|---|
| Several pages about a business, for its visitors | Website |
| One long page for a launch, an event or a campaign | Landing Page |
| A tool people sign in to and work in | Web App |
What you get without asking
- A navigation bar with the organisation's name, and the pages or sections a visitor comes for: what it offers, who works there, hours or prices where they matter, where it is and how to reach it.
- One clear call to action, such as Book an appointment, Reserve a table or Ask for a quote.
- Forms that really send. A contact, appointment or quote request reaches you as a message, and you read every one in Manage, under Cloud, then Forms. By default you get an email too, and a visitor who left an address gets a short confirmation that it arrived. Visitors do not need an account to send one.
- No login wall. Everything a visitor needs is visible without signing in.
- Photographs chosen for what the business does: a clinic gets clinics, a bakery gets bread.
- A layout for every screen. It is built for phones as well as computers, and measured at phone width after every build.
- Pages search engines can find. Each page has its own address, and a published site carries its titles, descriptions, a sitemap and a robots file. A business, a product or an event also gets structured data, which is what search engines read to show it well.
- A light and a dark look, with a switch in the header. A business site opens in the look it was designed in.
- Your language. Write the request in the language the site should speak. The letters it sends follow the language of its screens.
Ask like this
Start with what the business is, where, and the one thing a visitor should do. Add the parts you already know you want.
A website for a dental clinic in Manchester, with the treatments and their prices,
the team, opening hours, and a form to ask for an appointmentA website for an Italian restaurant, with the menu, photos of the dining room,
opening hours, the address on a map and a table reservation formA website for a small law firm, with its practice areas, the lawyers, client
reviews and a contact form, written formally, in GermanA portfolio website for a wedding photographer, with galleries by style,
packages and prices, and a form to check a dateDo not have the words for it yet? Pick Website and leave the box empty: ideas for websites appear under it. Pressing one puts it in the box, ready to change. The arrow beside them, Other ideas, shows more.

Make it yours
After the first build, change it the way you described it.
| To | Do |
|---|---|
| Change a word or a photo | Edit above the preview, then click it. No request needed. |
| Change the colours and fonts everywhere | Theme above the preview. |
| Add a page | "Add a Careers page with the open positions and a form to apply" |
| Let visitors keep what they book | "Let clients see and cancel their own appointments". They sign in when they book, and the rest of the site stays open. |
| Take payments | Connect Stripe, then ask: "Let people pay the deposit when they book" |
| Let visitors pick a free time | Connect Calendly, then: "Show my free times and let visitors book one" |
| Show where you are | Connect Google Maps, then: "Add a map with the address to the contact section" |
| Know who visits | Manage, then Analytics. Or connect Google Analytics. |
| Be found | Manage, then SEO & AI search |
| Use your own address | Custom domains, on a paid plan |
Good to know
- A website that sells products is a shop: say "an online store". Shopify, WooCommerce and PrestaShop stores can be connected as they are. See Online stores.
- Visitors never need an account to read or to send a form. Only what a visitor has to find again later, like their own bookings, asks them to sign in, and only at the moment they send it.
- With Power Seth a website gets the sections a visitor looks for even when you do not name them: an about section, testimonials, an FAQ. See Build modes.
