What you can build

Landing pages

One long page for a launch, a product, an event or a campaign: the sections Setherion builds without being asked, sign-ups that really arrive, and how to ask for one.

A landing page is one long page with one job: getting the visitor to do one thing. Join a waitlist, start a trial, reserve a place, buy a ticket. Everything on it, from the first headline to the last button, leads there.

When to choose it

Pick Landing Page, the browser window above the box on the dashboard, or say "a landing page" in your request. "A one-pager", "a sales page", "a waitlist page" and "a coming soon page" are read the same way.

What you get without asking

Even a one-line request gets the whole page, every section with finished words and real pictures, in this order:

  1. A header that stays on top, with the name, links that jump to each section, and the main button.
  2. The opening: the headline, a line under it, two buttons, a short line of trust, and a picture of the product or the subject beside them.
  3. Numbers or names that show other people already trust it.
  4. What it does, as a grid of tiles, with the strongest point in the largest one.
  5. How it works, in three numbered steps.
  6. A gallery of pictures or screens.
  7. Prices: two or three plans, one marked Popular, with a switch between monthly and yearly.
  8. What people say: two or three quotes, each with a face, a name and stars.
  9. Questions and answers that open and close.
  10. A last call to action, with an email sign-up where it fits.
  11. A footer with the links, and a Privacy policy and Terms page written for it.

And around them:

  • Sign-ups that arrive. An email, waitlist or contact form sends what the visitor typed to you. You get an email, and you read every one in Manage, under Cloud, then Forms. A form says it was sent only when it was. Each message uses an integration credit, and one visitor can send 10 an hour.
  • No dead links. Every link goes to a section or a page that exists. A part that is not built yet says Coming soon instead of doing nothing.
  • No login. A landing page has no sign-in unless you ask for accounts. When you do, they are real, with Google and with an email and a password.
  • A layout for every screen. It is built for phones as well as computers, and measured at phone width after every build.

Ask like this

Say what the page is for, who it is for, and the one thing a visitor should do. Add a date, a price or a place when there is one.

reviews, and a waitlist for the Android version

the menu, the price, and a form to reserve a place

who it is for, a money-back guarantee and a Buy now button

Pick Landing Page and leave the box empty, and ideas appear under it. Pressing one puts it in the box, ready to change, and the arrow beside them, Other ideas, shows more.

Good to know

  • Until payments or accounts are set up, the main buttons take the visitor to the prices or to the sign-up at the end of the page. Nothing on the page pretends to charge or to sign anyone in.
  • The Privacy policy and Terms are written to fit the page, not by a lawyer. Read them, and change what does not match how you work.
  • With Power Seth the sections ease in as they scroll into view, buttons answer a hover and a press, and every list on the page is full, not three placeholders. See Build modes.
