Getting started
Introduction
List, edit and publish your Setherion apps, and get them ready for the app stores, from your own code.
The Setherion API works on your apps from a script, a server or an automation. It lists them, changes one from an instruction, publishes one, and prepares one for Google Play and the App Store. It is the same work you do in the editor.
The API works on every plan, Free included. An edit spends credits the way it does in the editor, and writing the store page spends a few and needs Pro.
Base URL
https://www.setherion.com/api/v1Keep the www. The address without it redirects, and a redirect drops the Authorization header, so the request arrives without your key.
A first request
Make a key in Settings, then API keys, and list your apps with it:
curl https://www.setherion.com/api/v1/projects \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $SETHERION_API_KEY"{
"ok": true,
"total": 1,
"truncated": false,
"offset": 0,
"nextOffset": null,
"projects": [
{
"id": "7c1e4a52-9b0d-4f3e-8a61-2d5f0c9e7b14",
"name": "Coffee shop",
"description": null,
"url": "https://coffee-shop.setherion.app",
"updatedAt": "2026-09-19T10:42:07.000Z"
}
]
}Endpoints
| Method | Path | What it does | Access needed |
|---|---|---|---|
GET | /projects | List your apps, with search and pages | Any |
POST | /projects/{id}/edit | Change an app from an instruction | Editor |
POST | /projects/{id}/publish | Put an app online | Editor |
GET | /projects/{id}/store | What is ready for the app stores, and the steps | Viewer |
GET | /projects/{id}/store/privacy | The stores' privacy answers, read from the code | Viewer |
POST | /projects/{id}/store/listing | Write the store page | Editor |
Access is the role you have on the app. Viewer is enough to read; editor is needed to change anything or spend credits. Owners and admins have both. An app you cannot use at the level a call needs answers 404, the same as an app that does not exist.
Every answer carries ok
Every response is JSON with an ok field. When something is refused, ok is false, the status code says what kind of problem it is, and error is a sentence you can show a person:
{ "ok": false, "error": "No such app on this account." }See Errors and limits for every status code, every limit and the exact sentences.
What costs credits
| Call | Credits |
|---|---|
| List, publish, store guide, privacy answers | None |
| Edit | The same as an edit in the editor, taken from the account that pays for the app |
| Write the store page | A few, on Pro and up. Given back if no page came out. |
Use it from an AI assistant
If you want Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or VS Code to do this for you, you do not need the API directly. Connect an AI assistant instead: it offers these same calls as tools, and you sign in without a key.
