Plans and billingPlans and credits
Changing, leaving and refunds
Change plan, leave, and get a refund or withdraw.
Changing or leaving
Change plan, in Settings, then Plan and credits, opens Pricing. Pick a plan and a size there. On a paid plan, Manage subscription opens Stripe's own billing page: your card, your invoices, and cancelling.
Moving to a bigger plan or size
It starts now. You see the price first and confirm it. You pay only for the days left in your month, and the extra credits for those days arrive at once. If your bank needs to confirm the payment, you are sent to the invoice to finish it. Until it is paid, your plan stays exactly as it was.
Moving to a smaller plan, or between monthly and yearly
It starts at your next renewal, with nothing charged and no credits taken. Until then you keep what you have. The pricing page shows the change that is waiting on the card it changes, with Keep this plan beside it to call it off.
Cancelling
Open Manage subscription and cancel. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you paid for, then the account moves to Free. If you change your mind before then, the pricing page shows Keep this plan.
A payment that fails
Stripe tries your card again over the following days and emails you a link to update it. Your plan keeps working meanwhile, and the new month's credits arrive as soon as the payment goes through. If it never does, the plan ends and the account moves to Free. While a payment is outstanding, change your card in Manage subscription before you change plan.
Invoices and receipts
They are in Manage subscription, on Stripe's billing page, with your card and your billing details.
What you have built stays yours whatever the plan: your apps and their data stay, and the data can always be exported.
Refunds and withdrawing
When the mistake is ours
If you are charged twice, charged after you cancelled, or charged the wrong amount, that payment comes back in full. If a fault on our side stops you using what you paid for, we refund the part you could not use. A change that leaves your app unable to run returns its credits on its own.
Withdrawing within 14 days
At checkout there is a box you must tick to agree to the Terms and ask for your plan, or your extra credits, to start now. It says: if you withdraw within 14 days, you get back only the credits you have not used.
For 14 days after a purchase, Settings, under Billing, shows Withdraw from contract here. It lists what you bought, until when it can be withdrawn, how many credits you have used and what would come back. Choose what to withdraw from and press Confirm withdrawal.
- The refund is the share of the price whose credits are still in your account. It goes to the card you paid with within 14 days, and we email you when it is on its way. Banks usually show it 5 to 10 days after that.
- A plan ends at once and the unused credits leave your account at the same moment. A credit pack is the same for its own credits.
- On a yearly plan, what you used is measured against the whole year: twelve months of credits.
- If you have used all the credits, there is nothing to refund.
- You get a reference and an email confirming it. You can also write to support@setherion.com saying you withdraw, with the email of your account and what you bought.
A renewal you did not use
If a renewal charged you and you have not used anything since, tell us within 7 days and we refund it. The plan ends there.
What is not refunded
Credits you have used, including on results you did not like (ask for changes instead). A period already under way after the first 14 days: cancelling stops the next renewal, and your plan works until the period ends. Accounts closed for breaking the Terms.
The full rules are in the Terms.
