Setherion

Terms of Service

Last updated 16 October 2026.

These terms are the agreement between you and us, the company named at the end (“we”, “us”). Using Setherion means you accept them, so please read them. They are written plainly on purpose; nothing here is hidden in length.

What Setherion does

Setherion builds web applications from written instructions, lets you edit and preview them, hosts and publishes them, and connects them to other services. It is offered as it is, and it changes often: features are added, changed and sometimes removed.

Your account

  • You must be at least 16. If you use Setherion for a company, you confirm you may accept these terms for it, and “you” means the company too.
  • The details you give must be accurate, and your email address must be one you read: that is where we send what matters.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your password to yourself, consider turning on two-step sign-in, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has got in.
  • One person, one account. Do not share sign-in details; invite people to a workspace instead.

What you build is yours

You own what you create here: your instructions, your content, and the code generated for you. We claim no ownership of it, and you can download it or send it to GitHub at any time.

You give us the limited permission needed to run the service for you: to store your content, send the relevant parts to the AI providers that generate your code, show it to the people you share it with, and serve your published applications to their visitors. Nothing wider, and it ends when you delete the content, except for copies kept as our Privacy Policy describes.

If you publish an app as a template, or share it publicly, other people can see it and make their own copy of it. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything for it.

What is ours

Setherion itself, its software, design, name and logo, belongs to us or to those who license it to us. These terms give you the right to use the service, not to copy it, sell it, or take it apart to build a competing one. The libraries your generated apps use stay under their own open-source licences.

About the generated code and AI output

Code, text, images and other output are produced by AI models. They may contain mistakes, insecure patterns, or resemblances to other people's work, and the same request can give different results. Treat it as a strong start, not a finished product. Review it before you publish anything that handles real money, real personal data, or anything that matters. You remain responsible for what you publish and how you use it.

Applications you publish

An application you publish is yours, and so is responsibility for it: what it says, what it sells, and the law where its users are. If it collects data from its visitors, you must tell them what and why, in your own privacy policy. Our Privacy Policy covers Setherion; it does not cover your app. If you take payments in your app, you do so through your own payment account, under that provider's terms.

Data we process for your apps

For the personal data your published apps hold about their visitors (their accounts, what your app saves for them, form messages, visit statistics and the emails your app sends), you are the controller and we are your processor. In that role we:

  • process it only to run your app and the features you use, and on your instructions, which are these terms and how you set up your app;
  • keep it confidential and limit access to the people who need it to run the service;
  • protect it with appropriate technical and organisational measures, as described in our Privacy Policy;
  • use only the sub-processors listed in our Privacy Policy, and tell you there before we add one;
  • help you answer your visitors' requests to see or delete their data: your app's Manage panel shows its accounts and records, and Clear data deletes them;
  • tell you without undue delay if we become aware of a breach affecting it;
  • delete it when you clear it, or ask us to, and all of it when the app is deleted for good or your account is, unless the law requires us to keep it;
  • give you the information you reasonably need to show that these obligations are met.

What is not allowed

Do not use Setherion to build, host or send:

  • anything illegal where you or your users are;
  • material that sexualises children, incites violence or hatred, or harasses people;
  • malware, phishing pages, scams, or anything that impersonates a real person or organisation to deceive;
  • spam, or emails to people who did not ask for them;
  • infringements of somebody else's copyright, trade marks or privacy;
  • attacks on the service itself, including attempts to get around usage limits or credits, reach other people's projects, overload our systems, or extract our credentials;
  • resale of the service, or automated use that is not through our API, keys or connectors.

If something here breaks these rules, we can take it offline, suspend the account, or both. Where we can, we tell you first and give you the chance to fix it. To report an app built here that breaks them, write to support@setherion.com.

Services you connect

Connecting GitHub, Figma, Google, Stripe or any other service is between you and them, under their terms as well as these. You give us access to your data there; we use it only for the feature you connected it for, and you can disconnect at any time in your settings. We are not responsible for those services or what they do.

Plans and credits

  • Building, editing and other AI actions use credits. The pricing page shows each plan's price and how many credits it includes, the documentation explains what each action uses, and your balance is always shown in the app.
  • Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal and keeps your plan until the period ends.
  • A plan's monthly credits that you do not use carry over for one month, then expire. Credits you buy separately do not expire while your account is open.
  • Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred to another account, and are not refunded when an account is closed for breaking these terms.
  • Prices are in US dollars. We are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added: the price you see is the price you pay. Your bank may add its own fees for a foreign currency payment.
  • We may change prices or what a plan includes. A change reaches you at your next renewal, and we tell you by email before it does, so you can cancel first.

Refunds and withdrawal

In short: you get your money back when the mistake is ours, and for what you have not used. Credits you have used are not refunded. These rules apply whether you buy as a person or for a company.

  • When the mistake is ours. If we charge you twice, charge you after you cancelled, or charge the wrong amount, that payment comes back in full. If a fault on our side keeps you from using what you paid for, we refund the part you could not use. A change that leaves your app unable to run returns its credits to your account on its own.
  • Within 14 days of a purchase. You can withdraw from a plan or a credit pack within 14 days of paying for it, without giving a reason. At checkout you ask for the plan or the credits to start straight away, so on withdrawing you pay only for what you used: we refund the credits from that purchase that you have not used. For a yearly plan, what you used is measured against the whole year. Once the refund is made, the plan ends and the unused credits leave your account.
  • A renewal you did not use. If a renewal charged you and you have not used anything since, tell us within 7 days and we refund it, and the plan ends there.
  • What is not refunded. Credits you have used, including on results you did not like; ask for changes instead. A period already under way after those first 14 days: cancelling stops the next renewal, and your plan works until the period ends. Accounts closed for breaking these terms.

How to withdraw. For 14 days after a purchase, the pricing page shows a button, Withdraw from contract here. You can also write to support@setherion.com saying that you withdraw, with the email of your account and what you bought, for example: “I withdraw from my purchase of the Pro plan made on 3 October.” We confirm by email that we have it, and refund to the card you paid with within 14 days of receiving it.

Ending it

You can delete your account at any time in Settings, Account. We can suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, that stays unpaid, or that we are legally required to stop serving. If we end your account without cause, we give you at least 30 days' notice to download your work and refund any unused paid period. When an account ends, its published apps go offline and its data is deleted as our Privacy Policy describes.

Availability

Setherion is new and changes often. It can be interrupted or unavailable, for maintenance or because a service it depends on fails. We work to keep it running, but we do not promise a level of uptime, and we recommend keeping your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose: projects can be downloaded or sent to GitHub at any time.

Liability

Apart from what these terms promise, Setherion is provided without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. If you use it for your business, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost revenue or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it. You will cover us for claims by others arising from what you publish or how you use the service in breach of these terms.

If you are a consumer, you have legal rights that these terms do not take away, including for a service that does not match what we promised. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Neither of us is responsible for a failure caused by something beyond reasonable control, such as a major outage of the internet or of a provider we rely on, for as long as it lasts.

The law that applies, and disputes

These terms are governed by Romanian law, and disputes go to the courts of Bucharest. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the European Union or in the UK, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country, and you can also bring a claim in the courts where you live.

If something goes wrong, write to support@setherion.com first: most things are faster to settle by email. Consumers in Romania can also contact the Autoritatea Națională pentru Protecția Consumatorilor (anpc.ro) and use its alternative dispute resolution service (SAL).

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we tell you by email at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you can delete your account before then; continuing to use Setherion after that means you accept the new version. The date at the top says when they last changed.

Everything else

These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about Setherion. If a part of them cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not act on a breach straight away, we can still act on it later. You may not transfer these terms to someone else without our agreement; we may transfer them to a company that takes over Setherion, and we will tell you if we do.
