Store page and privacy forms
Write the store page and answer the privacy forms, from an assistant if you like.
The store page and the privacy forms
Two forms in each store take the longest to fill. The window helps with both, in the step that sends you to them.
- The store page: the name, the short and full description for Google Play, and the subtitle, keywords and promotional text for the App Store. Write it has AI write them from the app, in the language of its screens, cut to each store's limits, ready to copy. It costs credits, shown on the button before you press it, and is on the Pro plan and up. One press fills both stores, Write it again writes a new version, and the credits come back if nothing usable is produced. The text is not saved, so copy it before you leave.
- Data safety (Google Play) and App Privacy (App Store): what the app collects and why. The answers are read from the app's code, so they are free and match what the app really does, ads and purchases included. Open Your Data safety answers or Your App Privacy answers in the last step and use Copy all. Check each line against the form, because you answer for it.
The store page limits
| Store | Field | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Google Play | App name | 30 characters |
| Google Play | Short description | 80 characters |
| Google Play | Full description | 4,000 characters |
| App Store | Name | 30 characters |
| App Store | Subtitle | 30 characters |
| App Store | Keywords | 100 characters, separated by commas |
| App Store | Promotional text | 170 characters |
| App Store | Description | 4,000 characters |
Each field has a counter and a Copy button.
What the privacy answers cover
The answers pick up an email and user ID when the app has sign-in, user content when it saves data or uses AI, photos or video, location, and purchase history when it takes payments. In a Native project with ads they add the advertising ID, approximate location and ad interactions, which Apple counts as tracking. For the Easy way, which wraps the website, they add page views with a random visitor ID and crash logs. Google also asks for a web address where people can request account deletion. If people type names or phone numbers into the app, declare those yourself, and add Google Analytics types if you connected it.
From an AI assistant
The same guide works from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or VS Code once you connect an AI assistant: it can tell you which steps are left for an app and what to fix, give you the privacy answers, and write the store page. The guide and the privacy answers are free. Writing the store page uses credits and is on the Pro plan and up. The screenshots, the Easy way's ZIP and key, the project download and the guidelines check are done in the window, not by the assistant.
Put the web version on your own domain
The Easy way wraps the published address. A domain of your own makes it yours on the web too.
